How anti-wrinkle injections work
Anti-wrinkle injections relax the specific facial muscles that cause expression lines. When those muscles move less, the skin above them creases less, so existing lines soften and new ones are slower to form. Treatment works best on dynamic lines, the ones that appear when you frown, raise your eyebrows or smile.
Our aim is a natural result. You should still look like yourself and be able to show expression, just with a smoother, more rested appearance. If you prefer minimal movement, our frozen look treatment uses a stronger dose.
Areas We Treat
Most clients start with one or more of the three classic areas: the frown lines between the eyebrows, horizontal forehead lines and the crow’s feet at the corners of the eyes. We also treat bunny lines on the nose, smoker’s lines around the mouth, a gummy smile, a downturned smile and a dimpled or cobbled chin, and we offer a brow lift and lip flip.
Beyond the face, the same treatment can slim a square jaw by relaxing the masseter muscle, ease teeth grinding, soften neck bands and lift the jawline. It is also an effective treatment for excessive underarm sweating.
What happens at your appointment
Because anti-wrinkle treatment uses a prescription only medicine, every appointment starts with a face to face consultation. We take your medical history, ask what you would like to change and assess your facial movement. If treatment isn’t right for you, we will tell you. Your practitioner then explains the plan and what to expect, and you give written consent.
The injections themselves take around 10–15 minutes using a very fine needle, and most people return to normal activities straight away. We invite you back about two weeks later to check your result and make any small adjustments.

Anti-wrinkle results and how long they last
Results start to show after around three to five days and reach their full effect after about two weeks. They usually last three to four months, after which muscle movement gradually returns. With regular treatment, many people find their lines soften further over time.
Aftercare
Stay upright for four hours after treatment and avoid touching, rubbing or massaging the treated area for the rest of the day. Avoid strenuous exercise, saunas, steam rooms and alcohol for 24 hours, and leave facials, peels and other facial treatments for two weeks.
